Zikhona Sewula, is originally from Mbewuleni A/A a village situated in the outskirts of a small town called Idutywa in the Eastern Cape. A first born amongst three other siblings (two girls and a boy). She is a mother to three young men, Siphenathi, Kanya and Bandile. She was raised by both her grandmother, uNowinile Sewula and her mother Monica Sewula.
She obtained her primary education in Idutywa at Ewing Junior Secondary School and completed her matric in Mthatha at Zingisa Comprehansive High School in 1995. Then later obtained her National Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Currently pursuing the CIMA qualification through IBTC. Upon joining Zibonele FM in 2019 she also took interest in the training and assessment field and completed an assessment course and is now a qualified Assessor.
She started her career in 2003 working for First National Bank employed as a Financial Data Entries Clerk, she was later promoted to being a Relationship Analyst and has also occupied a Risk Administrator position and later worked as a Line Manager in the transactional banking section. She also worked for Nedbank LTD as a Fulfilment Clerk and a Consultant. She joined Zibonele FM in 2019 working as a Finance Officer, and is now holding the position of a Finance and Resources Manager.
