Alcohol Awareness Walk -About March

Our Presenters Zweli Nokhatywa and Sibongile Manga were hosting an Outside Broadcast on the 24 March 2019, that was about Alcohol Awareness Walk-About, This march was hosted at Thembelihle High School and our presenters were lucky enough to have a chat with the Premier of the Western Cape Helen Zille, she stated the accesive alcohol abuse and how its damaging our communities.

The strides they are taking to help was the steps of putting in lots of cameras in Town Two as a part of their awareness campaign to help their elected advocates fight the resulted alcohol crimes, They also have taken a step to closing down the illegal shebeens that sell unregulated alcohol.

Zille says they have introduced an Icare Centre that helps people stay entertained by use of computers, gaming, and help those looking for jobs and want to start businesses, she stated that this is other ways of spending time other than drinking alcohol.

The most challenge is when people vandalize infrastructure that’s meant to help the community,
