Covid-19 Compliance methods increased in the Western Cape
Following the President’s latest address to the nation last nite, the City of Cape Town’s enforcement services will extend their efforts to ensure compliance and containing the second wave of COVID-19 infections. The Western cape disaster risk management department will also help enforcing Covid-19 safety regulations and has reminded residents that not adhering to these regulations will and can result in arrests that could lead to criminal prosecution and a criminal record. Roadblocks and vehicle inspections will remain in place in key areas, inspections and raids will also still be done in gathering places to curb the spread of the virus.
