EMS Paramedic survive second attack in Mitchell's plain
2 Male EMS paramedics came under attack this morning in Beacon Valley, Mitchells Plain. When the paramedics stopped at the house where they were called to, a armed suspect ran towards them and a stray bullet hit one of the paramedics in the chest. Luckily the victim was wearing a bulletproof vest which saved this life. According to EMS spokesperson Deanna Bessick, this was the second time that the victim got attacked in this area while on duty. In the previous incident, he was stabbed in the back with a knife in the same area where he and his colleagues render an essential service. He was wearing a bullet proof vest at that time as well.
