The key role of the management team at Zibonele FM is to oversee the overall operations of the station and ensure that it is running efficiently and effectively. Some specific responsibilities of the management team may include:
- Setting the overall strategic direction and goals of the station
- Developing and managing budgets and financial plans
- Hiring and managing staff, including on-air personalities, producers, engineers, and administrative staff
- Developing and implementing programming schedules, promotions, and marketing plans to attract and retain listeners
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards, including broadcasting laws and regulations, as well as ethical standards for journalism and reporting
- Building relationships with advertisers and sponsors to generate revenue for the station

Once again Zibonele FM made a breakthrough of obtaining accreditation through MICT Seta to provide NQF level 5 Radio Production, and training process will commence in January 2018.
